The Nedean Galaxy is an art and writing gallery dedicated to the depiction of the titular fictional universe. Articles about various aspects of the galactic civilization that occupies the Nedean Galaxy and short stories about the inhabitants of that civilization will be posted on a weekly basis.

A Brief History of the Nedean Galaxy:

The Nedean Galaxy is one built from ashes. Ages ago, a series of catastrophes ushered in the collapse of an advanced empire that once united the galaxy. After a “Millennium of Silence,” the planet Nizo became the first world since the Collapse to achieve interstellar flight. Nizo has since become the epicenter of a new empire, one whose borders are perpetually expanded by adventurers that travel the stars in search of ruins and technology left behind by the old empire.

Those who search for the old empire’s technology do so for various reasons. Some are scavengers trying to make ends meat. Others hope to recreate the glory of the old empire. Then there are those who seek insight into the Collapse, and use that knowledge to move Nizo beyond the past and into the future.

Daniel Lubniewski was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He’s always had a passion for drawing, starting with cartoons drawn on leftover pieces of office paper with cheap pens.

In high school, Daniel created what would eventually become the first inhabitants of the Nedean Galaxy, spending his free time drawing characters inspired by Star Wars, video games, comic books, anime, and other works of science fiction. He developed this universe further in college and grad school, where he studied printmaking and bookmaking.
